As Thanksgiving is coming up, I was looking for a place to go to that would be close to the place I’m living in right now, which is St. Louis; and the first place that came to my mind was Chicago, so I decided to share it with you guys.

I had the opportunity to live in Chicago and I have visited it many times throughout my life and, to tell you the truth, I never get tired of this place!

The Windy City has so much to offer; they have a lot of tourist places that you can visit. There’s the Willis Tower with the SkyDeck that allows you to see the city in a whole different perspective from up above, the Navy Pier that is like a flashback to your childhood’s best memories, the Michigan lake that looks like an ocean, all of the parks that have different activities and things to do, the amazing theaters with Broadway shows and so much more.

Chicago is the  third most populous city in the United States and its international airport, O’hare, is the second busiest airport in the world. Chicago is full of culture and entertainment, and it has an endless nightlife. It is home to some of the most famous teams for different sports, like the Stanley Cup winners, Blackhawks and the really well known basketball team, The Bulls.

One of the things that I love the most about Chicago is its amazing public transportation. The CTA can take you anywhere in the city and has an exceptional service of trains and buses; and as parking is so expensive in the city is, most times, better to use the public transportation offered by the city.

Chicago has a ton of things to offer so I encourage you to go to the Windy City and let yourself be amazed.
